Corban Joseph is a 2008 SS/2B with a 6'0'', 170 lb. frame from Franklin, TN, who attends Franklin High School. Named to the Top Prospect Team at the event. Joseph has a lean and long body with athleticism. Defensively he shows very good agility with a quick first step and smooth footwork. He gets himself in great position to make all the plays. Joseph has soft hands and is quick starting the double play. Shows body control on slow rollers, and he can throw well on the move. Joseph is an advanced defender for a 2008 prospect. At the plate he very good bat speed through the hitting zone with quick hands and adjustability. Joseph is a line drive hitter that stays inside the ball well allowing him to make consistently hard contact. He is an advanced young hitter and is a must follow. Also has instincts on the bases. Joseph is also a good student.
