2007 World Showcase
Jeremy Lorenzo is a 2007 LHP with a 6'0'', 190 lb. frame from Newark, New Jersey, who attends East Side High School. Jeremy has a mature build and showed a good feel for pitching at the showcase. At the plate Jeremy has a line-drive swing plane but tends to wrap the bat and get to long with his swing. Jeremy throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action and gets very good sink on his fastball. He will shows a big and tight 2 to 8 curveball that he is able to locate wel. The only thing missing right now for Jeremy is a little more velocity. He is a player that should attract the attention of many smaller level college programs.
