Trevor Swint is a 2008 SS/2B/OF with a 5'11'', 165 lb. frame from Baytown, TX who attends Baytown Sterling. Trevor is very athletic, and has a slender frame with room to add size. He has very good speed with an explosive first step, and ran a 6.68 sixty during the workout. He uses his speed and tracks the ball well in the outfield, and gets good reads off the bat. His arm is long and easy on his throws and has carry. He is accurate and on the bag with his throws with a top velocity of 85 mph. On the infield he has soft hands and his feet work. He is fundamentally sound, and his arm works on the infield as well with a top velocity of 79 mph. At the plate he hits from an open stance with a high hand set. He uses a rocking motion and a short load. He is a rhythm hitter and has good bat speed. Trevor is also a good student.
