Richard Lindsay is a 2009 RHP/SS/OF with a 6'2'', 155 lb. frame from Manassas, VA who attends Brentsville District. Richard has a lean athletic build with a good amount of room to fill out. On the mound Richard throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short compact arm action and good arm speed. His fastball is fairly live and his velocity projects well. Richard has a clean delivery and gets a nice downhill plane on his pitches. He shows nice depth on a tight slider and good feel for a 10 to 4 curveball. At the plate Richard shows solid raw hitting tools and made very solid contact during batting practice. He shows good bat speed and centers the ball up well, but will get very long in his swing plane. In the outfield Richard has loose easy actions and could project at a number of different positions. He showed very solid infield tools with a strong arm and quick release. Richard showed the tools to play any infield position. He is a solid two-way prospect that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
