James Marcotte is a 2009 C/OF from Bishop Hendricken HS, residing in Somerset, Massachusetts, with a 5'8"/170 pound frame. He hits from a straight stance with a knee lift trigger. Marcotte has solid bat speed and uses the whole field. He has solid hands at the plate although he does get long with his swing at times. James has good feet behind the plate with a quick release and 2.10 pop time. He has an accurate arm and solid receiving skills. Marcotte is an excellent student.
