Brad Johnson is a 2010 3B/P with a 6'2'', 190 lb. frame from West Chester, PA who attends Rustin. Brad has a tall athletic build that projects very well for the future. At the plate Brad has very good raw hitting tools with solid bat speed and good power projection. He is pretty raw in terms of his hitting fundamentals and tends to lunge in hard at pitches. He needs to work on improving his balance and leverage in his swing. In the field Brad shows very solid actions at third base. He is light on his feet with good footwork and shows solid all-around defensive actions. On the mound Brad throws with a short loose arm action from a 3/4 arm slot. He gets a nice downhill plane on his pitches and has good pitchablity with a solid feel for a change-up. Brad is a solid student that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
