Eric Stevens is a 2010 RHP with a 6'5'', 215 lb. frame from Pompton Lakes, NJ who attends Don Bosco Prep. Extra large athletic frame, big and strong. Tall and slow paced full delivery, keeps arm compact in back, throws downhill, bit mechanical in actions. Steady upper 80's fastball, touches 90 mph or better, late hard bore occ on FB. Separate CB/SL spins, SL can be late and sharp at times when down, CB big and hard with proper shape, flashes change up. Has an idea, mixes it up, has lots of weapons with sinker/slider future, workhorse type. Could create some serious draft interest. Very good student, verbal to Boston College.
