Glenn Desposito -- Desposito is a strong and physically mature junior pitcher from Florida. He has a very solid and muscular lower half, almost like a football fullback, and gets very good use of his lower body in his delivery. Desposito topped out at 85 mph in Fort Myers and we’ve seen him a tick or two above that in the past. Desposito’s mechanics are very smooth and compact and he should develop into a constant strike thrower in the future. Desposito’s curveball and change up are both good pitches, especially his change up. With good mechanics, plenty of strength and 3 solid pitches, he could develop into a real workhorse at the next level. He also showed outstanding power potential with the LH bat. He’s a good student, too.
