Matt Anderson is a 2009 RHP/OF with a 6'2'', 225 lb. frame from Claremont, CA who attends Claremont. Big strong frame, has strength throughout, loose and athletic. Can do it all over the field, clean actions on the infield, good hands, and displayed athleticism moving laterally, has arm strength. Had a very good BP session that included several HR's, consistent hard line drive contact with a sound hitting approach, has good lift and leverage in swing. Also sets up well behind the plate, good catch and throw skills with arm strength and accuracy. Was also good on the mound, good armspeed, good downward plane, 11-5 CB with tight spin, arm works loose. Versatile athlete had a very good weekend. Good student.
