Billy Scherr is a 2008 RHP with a 6'4'', 190 lb. frame from Peosta, IA who attends Wahlert. Scherr has a tall long body with a projectable build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. Scherr gets good extension out front and gets good sink on his fastball especially when down in the zone. He throws a very deceptive change-up with good sink on it. Scherr repeats his delivery well and pounds the strike zone.
