Nick Bonadies is a 2009 MIF/OF/P from Scotch Plains Fanwood HS, residing in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, with a 5'10"/165 pound frame. He hits from a straight and upright stance with solid hands. Nick has solid bat speed and good weight transfer. He has solid raw power at the plate but will dip his backside at times. Bonadies has a sidearm release across the infield at 75 mph with an accurate arm. He has solid range defensively but needs to work on his quickness. Nick pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. He throws slightly across his body with a downward plane to the plate. Nick has slight arm side run on his fastball at 79 mph with a solid 11-5 curveball at 70 mph. Bonadies is an excellent student.
