Henry Morquecho is a 2006 third baseman/outfielder from Sylmar California with a strong body at 6 ft. 190 pounds. He hits left handed from a tall, narrow stance and showed good strength in his upper body. He is short and quick to the ball with a nice high extended finish. He has a good swing plane and showed very good bat speed during the games. He is very quick on the inner half of the plate and showed good power potential to the pull side. He made solid contact every at bat and he centers on the ball well. Morquecho has very good reactions on defense and is much quicker than his 60 time would lead you to believe. He has a compact arm action that shows very good strength at 83 mph. He has good range to both sides and made a great diving play to his backhand. He is a top level player that should draw a lot of attention in the future. Henry is a good student.
