Marconcini has a tall strong build, hits from a simple stance, solid swing with good bat speed, line drive swing, has some pop in bat now with potential for more, solid approach, can hit, he has solid defensive actions, smooth. Marconcini also pitches, has short loose arm, very raw arm with some upside, good movement on 2-seam. Marconcini is also a good student.

Christopher Marconcini is a 2010 P/1B/OF with a 6'3'', 205 lb. frame from Brentwood, TN who attends Battle Ground Academy. He has a tall, strong build and is a good looking athlete. Marconcini has a slow paced, low effort delivery with some back turn to the plate to hide the ball. He doesn't get much lower half into his delivery and could be leaving some velocity over the rubber. Marconcini's fastball was 77-80 mph and he had good command of his fastball and was able to pitch to spots with it. His curveball was soft at 62 mph and he'll need to throw hit harder to make it an effective pitch. We didn't see a change up. Marconcini is young and should be able to continue to improve. He plays first base when not pitching and showed good agility and footwork around the bag, along with soft hands. He flashes some power on contact but needs to improve his balance and hand speed to improve as a hitter.
