Christopher O'Dowd is a 2009 C with a 5'10'', 182 lb. frame from Cherry Hills Village, CO who attends Regis Jesuit. O'dowd has a strong catchers build and shows good catch and throw skills. He has a very quick exchange and release and popped a 1.87 in the workout. He switch hits and is good from both sides of the plate. He has a good approach and uses all fields. He makes solid contact and his bat projects large. O'Dowd is a very athletic 2009 catcher to follow closely. He even ran a 6.81 sixty, has a great feel for the game, and he is also an outstanding student.
