Javier Reynoso is a 2011 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Odessa, FL who attends Brooks-Debartolo Collegiate. Medium athletic build. Long arm action, works downhill with extended 3/4 release. Raw stuff was impressive but his command was not as we have seen it in the past. Big sweeping 2/8 curveball, mixed in changeup. Showed well at the plate from both sides. Combination of hitting tools and arm strength suggest he will could be a successful two-way player if he goes to college, has pro potential as either a LHP or OF. Excellent student, committed to Coastal Carolina.

Javier Reynoso is a 2011 LHP/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Odessa, FL who attends Brooks-Debartolo Collegiate HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Quality 2-way prospect, touches 90 mph off the mound but didn't pitch this event. Showed high level arm strength in the outfield, easy defensive actions, loose arm with plus carry, very accurate. Rare lefty switch-hitter with some strength/bat speed from both sides, best bat speed right handed, good coil and flow, ball jumps hard, pull/lift approach, squares it up. Likely pro pitcher but outstanding college potential as dual talent. Good student, signed with Coastal Carolina.

Javier Reynoso is a 2011 LHP with a 6-0 186 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who is home schooled. Medium athletic build. Long whippy arm action with full arm swing in back, slightly cross body on release, extended mid 3/4's slot, arm is fast and loose. Upper 80's fastball, touch 90 mph, good FB life down in zone, drops elbow on CB, soft velocity but big with good shape, can improve with adjustments. Lower release on Change, almost side arm, occ big running life, tips because of lower release. Switch-hitter, showed some bat speed in BP, especially left handed.
