Jake Endvick is a 2007 RHP/IF from Oak Creek, Wisconsin, with a strong, medium build at 5'11", 165 pounds. He pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot and a very strong, solid base. His fast ball has lots of movement throughout the pitch at 80-81 mph. His curveball (68-69 mph) is one of the best we have seen for his age. He throws it hard with a very tight 10-4 break that had batters bailing out. Offensively, he hits from a narrow upright stance, and has a huge swing which makes him off balance in his finish. He also showed huge power to the pull side, hitting 2 home runs during batting practice, and doubling off the wall twice during the games. He steps out on every pitch which makes it hard to go with outside pitches, but he generates great bat speed and turns on anything on the inner half of the plate. Jake will definitely be a high level college prospect in the future.
