Jake Floethe is a 6'2" 182 pound 2007 corner infielder from Martinez, California who attends Acalanes High School. He has present strength and the ability to drive the ball up the middle of the diamond. During the workout, he ran a 7.96 60 and topped out at 78 mph in the field. Jake hits the ball up the middle well with good hand and eye coordination to center the barrel on the ball often. The ball jumps off his bat when he makes solid contact. He has good bat speed and holds his hands high in his stance. During the game, Floethe stole third and made quality contact. He is a middle of the line up type bat with good hands on defense to be a two dimensional player.
