Jake Quigg is a 2006, third baseman, 6'2-210, from Glen Arm, MD with a very strong athletic body . In the games he just missed hitting several balls very deep by just getting under three balls. Quigg has ability to hit the ball long on every pitch. Some what green actions in the field, he showed solid arm strength with good carry on throws. Quigg is a player who should continue to get better and has big power potential. A RH hitter with tall stance and very good power. Likes the ball in and he can drive it. He has strong hands and good balance in his swing. On the mound, Quigg is a RHP that throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He threw his FB at 81 mph and his CB at 62 mph with solid 12-6 rotation. Quigg is just starting to combine his raw strength and athleticism to the game. He is the type of player who can improve very quickly.
