2007 Midwest Top Prospect Showcase
Robert Page is a 2007 RHP with a 6'3'', 185 lb. frame from Brampton, ON who attends St Thomas Aquinas SS. He has a square shouldered athletic build with some present strength. Page has very good natural arm strength but is very raw as a pitcher based on this look. He has a full back turn delivery with poor balance coming around and a stiff landing out front. His arm speed was very good and most of his fastballs were 84-85 mph despite his mechanics. Page threw mostly fastballs and was consistently wild all around the zone. He slowed his arm on his curveball, although it flashed good spin at times. Page has a good build and a good arm to develop but is at the thrower stage right now until he can improve his mechanics and consistency.
