Trey Nelson is a 2010 OF/2B/P with a 5'9'', 160 lb. frame from Stockbridge, GA who attends Dutchtown HS. Compact athletic build, some strength. Quick athletic actions, 6.95 runner, good OF range, profiles well at 2B also. Short quick swing, good hands, drives ball hard to the opposite field, has bat speed, line drive swing plane. Also pitched, FB 80-83 mph from long 2 piece arm action, high 3/4's release, mixes in an occasional slider. Good athlete with tools for the next level. Good student.
