Niko Spezial is a 2009 LHP with a 6'4'', 207 lb. frame from Ramsey, NJ who attends Don Bosco Prep. Spezial has a good pitchers body and used a Hi 3/4 arm angle to pitch in the upper 80's at the Metrodome. He has deception in his delivery and got a lot of swings and misses. He works both sides of the plate and his fastball showed some life. He also threw a curveball and a change up with sink. He showed good pitching ability and poise. This big lefty has a chance to become a very good pitcher at the highest levels. Spezial is also a good student.
