John Barbato is a 2010 RHP with a 6'2'', 185 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Felix Varela HS. Slender young build, projects very well. Throws plus easy, very nice balanced mechanics, ball comes out effortlessly. FB was steady at 91 mph at the Matrodome, touched 92. Pitches to corners with FB, cuts FB at times, very easy to project mid-90's future velo. CB has proper shape, could develop into plus pitch At times tends to drag arm on change. Secondary stuff needs a little work, but very special arm. Good athlete, can swing the bat.
