Johnny Montoya is a strong physical 6'0/190 RHP from Miami, FL. His 90+ fastball comes out of his hand easy and clean. He keeps 90 mph velocity in the stretch. His FB shows excellent life and he commands the pitch. He has a sharp breaking CB in the 73 mph range. And he uses a good changeup to give him 3 quality pitches. Johnny could tone up his body a bit more, but there's no question but he's a highest level college pitcher. He and Meschi are similar, only Johnny throws a bit harder. He's fun to watch work on the mound.
