Jody Sellars is a 2006 LHP/1B/OF with a 6'1'', 210 lb. frame from Americus GA, who attends Southland Academy. Jody has a thick body with good strength. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. Jody has a quick arm with good looseness. He has a slow and deliberate delivery with a good tempo to it. Jody has good command and keeps the ball down in the zone on a consistent basis. He works quick on the mound and pitches with some effort. Jody throws a hard tight slider and gets armside run on his fastball. Jody is a solid defensive player with nice hands and moves well around the base at first. At the plate he starts with a straight stance and high hands. Jody uses a no stride approach with a line drive swing path. He has good power with good leverage in his swing. Jody has a good upside and is a good student.
