Blake Hunter is a 2011 RHP/SS with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Livingston, TX who attends Woodville HS. Medium slender build. Simple leg raise delivery, stays on line, palm up in back, 3/4's release point. Fastball up to 81 mph, good sinking action, slider is best pitch, good hard biting action and depth, rare curveball/change up, sinker/slider pitcher, needs to challenge more often. 7.04 runner, has middle infield tools, good range, accurate throws, solid arm strength, good overall balance. Upper cut swing plane, open stance, power approach but needs strength. Good student.
