Michael Carballo is a 2010 OF/C with a 5'11'', 188 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Archbishop McCarthy HS. Solid compact athletic build. Very good OF actions, plus arm, (93) very accurate, 6.70 runner with quick first step. Raw catching fundamentals but high energy, aggressive receiver, tools to become top level catcher with time. Outstanding athletic ability plays everywhere. Limited load hitting, short quick swing, line drive approach, hits other way with authority, will need to learn to get hands/barrell thru on inside half, high average approach, good overall balance. Serious tools. Could create serious draft interest. Excellent student.
