Andrew Hanse is a 2009 RHP/with a 6-6 210 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Ellsworth CC. Long lean build, plenty of room to add strength, young look for age, still only 19. On line leg kick delivery, extended 3/4's release point, arm action is loose and tension free, could maintain height better on release. 4-seam fastball to 88 mph, 2-seamer at 84 mph has hard sinking action. Nice arm speed on change up, quality present pitch with deception. Slurve type breaking ball, short tight slider break at times, more depth would be ideal. Throws strikes, works inside and challenges hitters. Good chance to keep improving despite year in school, could be a late bloomer.
