Broscious is a very athletic 6-4, 205 lb right handed pitcher/outfielder from Virginia. He ran the 60 in 7.07 and opened everyone's eyes with his 89 mph arm strength from the outfield. While he generates very good bat speed now and shows power potential, Brosciouis is raw at the plate and makes inconsistent contact. More work offensively could make him a legit two-way prospect. On the mound, Broscious has a short quick arm action with some back side collapse that leaves him throwing level with the hitter. His fastball was steady at 84-85 mph. Broscious' 70 mph curveball had good hard spin but a bit of a hump in it due to his low drive to the plate. He also threw a 76 mph change up. Broscious leaves the impression that he could be throwing much harder very soon with some adjustments. Very good follow. Broscious is also an elite level student with high level academic aspirations.
