Jordan Lowe is a 2006 third baseman from La Quinta, California, with a 6'1", 175 lb. frame. Lowe's strength is with his bat, and that is good because bats play regardless of the level. He uses a short stride with quiet hands and explodes on the ball with very good bat speed. There is strength in his swing with present raw power and the ball jumps off his bat. Lowe doesn't get cheated at the plate, but his aggressiveness is controlled and he has a good approach. Defensively he shows arm strength with good accuracy, and good footwork that plays well at third base. Lowe was one of the top offensive players at the event and was named to the top prospect team. He has a bright future and is a must follow for college coaches and professional scouts. Lowe is also a very good student.

Jordan is a 2006 grad from La Quinta, California with a slender frame and some wirey strength. He has nice athletic actions that show well on defense, where he has above average range and footwork, good balance and an accurate arm. He made some plays to his left that were excellent. There really isn't any reason we could see athletically why Jordan couldn't be playing shortstop or second base, either. Jordan hits from a balanced stance at the plate, with a short, crisp swing and good bat speed. He showed us the ability to adjust to different pitches and hit the ball with authority to all fields and is a very advanced overall hitter. He would be classified as a double/gap type of power guy right now but with more strength who knows. Jordan is a solid overall set of baseball tools with very advanced skills and should be able to contribute right away at a quality college program. Good prospect who could get better. He is a good student, too.
