Inzone is a 6' 175 pound 2006 lefthanded pitcher and outfielder from Jamul, California who attends Steele Canyon High School. He has a very strong athletic body with room to fill out some. He swings extremely hard with very good bat speed and quick hands. The ball jumps off his bat very well especially from the right side. He crushed a homerun to right field in the game. He showed good speed as well running a 7.09 in the 60 and a 4.54 to first in the game. His best tool is his arm. He threw 91 from the outfield in the workout. He has good arm speed with an ok release and good arm strength. On the mound, Joseph has a very loose lively arm and gets good extension on his pitches. He has very smooth mechanics which helps his fastball explode on top of the hitters, especially the left handers. His fastball topped out at 87 mph and is fairly straight but his slider is 78 mph and is very tight with good depth on it. He throws both pitches for strikes and he likes to pitch in, especially on left handed hitters who he eats up. Inzone has a very calm demeanor on the mound showing nothing at all except for confidence. Joseph is also a very good student in school where he has a 4.0 grade point average.

Joseph Inzone is a 2006 OF/1B/LHP from Steele Canyon HS in Jamul, CA, with a strong 6'0", 175 lb. frame. Inzone is a projectable kid that can get it done on the mound or with the bat. At the plate he shows very good bat speed with strength in his swing and the ball really jumps off his bat. Inzone will be a middle of the order bat that will produce runs at the next level. He has a loose swing with good rhythm and balance to at contact. His hands are quiet and he gets right up on the plate inviting the ball inside so he can use his quick bat and turn on the ball. He could be a great offensive acquisition for a top college program. On the mound he has a quality slider with good late action which is very tough on left handed hitters. Inzone has a good feel, consistent release point, and a balanced delivery that increases his ability to hit his spots. His fastball topped out at 84 mph with good arm side life in on the hands of left handers. Inzone has two-way talent, but his bat is his best tool. He is a must follow, and is an outstanding student.

Inzone is a 6-0 left handed hitting outfielder from California with a slender, projectable body. He showed very good arm strength from the outfield in drills at 86 mph. While Inzone ran the 60 in 7.1, he appeared faster on the baseball field running in the outfield and on the bases. He has actions like a speed player. Inzone hits out of a wide stance with a no load approach and a little foot raise trigger. He has a nice, short swing and a quick bat path to the ball. Inzone made solid contact and is just going to improve with more strength. Inzone also pitched an inning and pitching mechanics kept him from matching the arm strength he showed from the outfield. He topped out at 81 mph with his fastball from a low ¾’s release point. Inzone is also an excellent student.
