Joseph Sanders is a 2006 3B with a 6'1'', 195 lb. frame from Millbrook, AL, who attends Stanhope Elmore High School. Pitched before the event and still pitching in Alabama State playoffs so didn't show his best arm strength, saving arm for next round, large frame, present strength especially in lower half, competes, plays hard, good hands defensively, moves well at 3B, runs 7 flat 60, accurate arm, quick bat, power in swing, good leverage at contact, can drive the ball, balanced swing, middle of the order run producer, good upside. Has signed with Auburn.

Joseph Sanders is a 2006 3B/SS/RHP from Stanhope Elmore HS in Millbrook, AL, with a 6'1", 195 lb. frame. He has very good present strength with good athletic balance. Sanders ran the 60 in 6.99 and shows very good range and quickness on defense at third base. He has very good game arm strength and a nice, quick release. He made a number of very good defensive plays in the showcase games and really stood out with the glove. Offensively, Sanders shows plus raw power and bat speed at times. He tends to get his weight out front very early, which takes away his leverage and strength, but the raw tools are there for a middle of the order power hitter with some adjustments. Sanders looks like a gamer who plays hard and competes. He is a good student and has signed to attend Auburn.
