Ryan Manning is a 2012 LHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Milford, CT who attends Joseph A Foran. Lean lanky build with room to fill. Projectable arm with a wide hand separation in the back and extended 3/4 arm slot with short arm action. Repeated delivery well and threw strikes to both sides of the plate. Fastball showed some late cut. Good command of fastball that was around 80 and curveball with 1/7 break. Showed the ability to backdoor the pitch. Developing feel for changeup at 74. Open stance at the plate. Loose swing with smooth easy swing plane. Has potential for power. Very good student.
