C Josh Faaborg: Faaborg is a junior catcher from Iowa with a nice, projectable athletic body and good baseball actions. The whole key to Faaborg’s baseball future is going to revolve around his adding some strength that will add some quickness and authority to his solid baseball skills. He has a good load and trigger at the plate and a level, smooth swing. His lack of hand and upper body strength means most of his contact is to the right side of the field now, but he centers the ball on the bat well. Defensively, Faaborg moves well behind the plate, has strong fundamentals and has an aptitude towards working with pitchers and managing a game.
