Andrew Oberg is a 2008 2B/OF with a 5'10'', 180 lb. frame from Garland, TX who attends North Mesquite. Oberg has a very athletic frame with good present strength with room to go. He has very good hands on the infield and keeps his body under control. He gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate throws across the diamond. Andrew hits from a narrow base and has a no stride, lift and replace approach. During BP he showed gap level power potential, and has the ability to go the other way with the outside pitch. Oberg is also a very good student.
