Kameron Brunty is a 2008 SS/OF with a 6'2'', 170 lb. frame from Gulf Breeze, FL, who attends Gulf Breeze HS. Named to the Top Prospect Team at the event. Brunty is a lean and athletic player with good projection to his body. He runs well for a young player of his size showing a solid time in the sixty as well as in game action. Defensively he has good arm strength from the outfield and infield. There is quickness in his arm and he gets rid of the ball quickly. Brunty showed equally as well from both the infield and the outfield. He has a lively body defensively showing body control and fluid movements. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from a straight away stance. Brunty has quick hands at the plate showing the bat speed to handle higher velocity pitches. He has an inside out swing that enables him to hit the ball to all fields. He has good potential at plate, and has great upside to his overall game. Brunty is a good student as well.

Kameron Brunty is a 6-1/150, (2008) middle infielder from Gulf Breeze,FL with 7.35 sixty speed and 4.47 down the line. He's a left handed hitter with a whippy bat action and very good bat speed for his age. Brunty's approach at the plate is well balanced and he projects some gap to gap power in the future as he fills out his slender frame. Brunty's defensive actions are solid, too. He fields the ball well out front and has a smooth transfer and release. Brunty's arm strength is good for a 15 year old at 77 mph and should keep improving. The key for this young prospect is going to be getting stronger. He has a well rounded skill and tool set and being a left handed hitting infielder is a plus. Keep an eye on him for future development. Brunty is also a good student.
