Lee is a 6' 195 pound 2006 catcher who attends Rancho Buena Vista High School in Vista, California. He has strong legs and is big boned with a durable catchers body. He keeps his hands back when he loads and uses a lift with his front foot as a trigger. He looks to go to the opposite field and likes the ball out over the plate. Kellen has some raw strength in his swing that will get better as he learns how to hit. He shows good instincts on the bases and is very aggressive as well advancing to third base on a ball in the dirt. During the workout, he threw 80 mph with a pop time of 2.09. He showed decent arm strength and an innate ability to block the ball in the dirt. Lee has very good speed for a catcher running a 7.13 in the 60 and a 4.69 to first base from the right side. On top of everything he has outstanding academics, a 4.42 grade point average.
