Kendall Charles is a 2008 C/1B from Poquoson HS in Poquoson, VA with a 6'0", 195 lb. frame. Kendall has a strong athletic build. At the plate Kendall shows a calm approach in which he produces gap to gap power. Kendall has a tendency to get a little long with his swing and jams himself quite a bit. Behind the plate Kendall has good catching fundamentals and an accurate arm. He will need to work on getting his tranfer quicker. Kendall has good overall athletic ability and should attract the attention of many smaller schools.

Kendall Charles is a 5'11" 180 pound 2007 catcher and first baseman from Poquoson, Virginia who has a medium frame and a build that is developing and will get stronger. Kendall showed consistant clean transfers and a 2.06 pop time with 72 mph on the gun. His feet work well and he should continue to lower his pop times as he gets stronger. His throws show true backspin and he keeps the ball around the bag. At the plate this 7.83 sixty runner has good bat speed and attacks the ball. A right handed hitter who looks the go the other way and moves runners around the diamond. He has good balance in his swing with a line drive swing plane. We saw Kendall at last years event and he continues to improve. Named to Top Prospect game.

Kendall Charles is a 2008 catcher/first baseman from Poquoson, Virginia, with a potentially bright future. He has a 5'10"-168 lb., athletic catcher’s build, with a medium frame that is just starting to develop strength. Behind the plate he showed 2.12-2.20 pop time ranges with 70 mph velocity, a good effort from a freshman. Charles looked a little tense in batting practice, but hit much better against live pitching. He especially showed the ability to get his hands through on inside pitches and pull the ball with some power. Charles should continue to improve as a hitter as he adds strength. Better speed and agility would help his game in a number of areas.
