Brandon Shulista is a 2011 RHP with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Solon, IA who attends Solon HS. Solid build, looks larger than list. Big leg raise/back turn delivery, lots of deception, picks up plate late but repeats delivery very well, arm is quick and smooth. Steady mid 80's fastball, good running action, curveball is best pitch, flashes hard spin and bite, pounds strike zone with both pitches. Throws change in warm ups, rare in game. Command better from the wind up. Effective pitcher who mixes it up and comes after hitters. Good student, signed with Iowa Central CC.
