Kyle Smith is a 2011 RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends Santaluces HS. Medium athletic build, has MIF actions on the field. Standard leg raise delivery, very good weight shift to front side, throws downhill, clean arm circle, repeats delivery very well, plus command potential. 88-91 mph fastball, some arm side run. Curveball has very good velocity and hard, tight spin, big and nasty at times. Change is also a potential plus pitch, good arm speed and late fade. Potential for 3 plus pitches and plus command. Lots to like. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
