Andy Moye is a 2006 right handed pitcher from Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, Georgia, with a 6'5'', 180 lb. frame. He is a lean and athletic pitcher with a very projectable body. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with solid arm speed. Moye has a balanced and online delivery with minimal effort. He has good control of all his pitches, including a sinking fastball that topped out at 86 mph. With his size and arm, we think he will be an easy 90 mph guy in the future. He also mixes in a sharp curveball with depth at 72 mph, and shows a feel for his changeup at 76 mph. Moye is very athletic on the mound, and fields his position. He is a top level pitcher with great upside. Moye is a must follow.

Andy Moye is a 2006 right handed pitcher from Alpharetta, GA with a good pitchers build at 6-5, 180 lbs. He has narrow slopped shoulders and extra long and lanky arms and legs. He has an easy delivery with good balance and a very fast arm stroke. Moye's best pitch has always been his curveball. It doesn't have power velocity at 71 mph but it has a big sharp break to it and can buckle knees. Moye pitches in the 87-89 mph range, so he has plenty of velocity to keep hitter's honest and it looks like he will throw harder in the future. Moye's 78 mph change up is also a good pitch. He has a huge upside and will keep the pro scouts coming back time and time again to see how he's progressing.

Moye is a very slender and projectable 6-5 right handed pitcher from Georgia. He’s a junior with broad, sloping shoulders. In short, he has the kind of pitcher’s body that’s going to get the scout’s attention. Moye threw excellently in Fort Myers, striking out 8 in 4 shutout innings. He showed a quick arm from a high ¾’s release point on an 83-85 mph fastball. Moye’s curveball was dirty at times at 69-71 mph, getting hard rotation and bite from a good downward plane. Moye has all the ingredients in place to become one of the better right handed pitching prospects in the 2006 class.
