Byler is a smooth infielder who we have seen much better at other PG events. He has MLB average tools across the board and a very projectable body to build on. His fielding actions and instincts are excellent. He swings the bat very well and will only get better as he grows bigger and stronger. Even with a lack luster performance at the PG National we remain high on Byler's chances. He would be the first to tell people that he didn't perform up to his potential. Look for him to rebound by the next time we see him. We really like the way this kid plays. He has a bright future. Kyle is a good student.

Byler is an excellent and projectable 04 prospect. He has outstanding infield skills and actions. Good arm action, good hands and knows what he's doing. Excellent middle infielder. Projects to be a MLB plus runner and he switch hits. Pretty swing both ways he can hit. One draw back is that he has a tendency to over stride at times. As he gets stronger, he should be a top in the country type prospect. A definite close national follow who should have a nice baseball career. A great all-round package!

Keep a very close eye on this kid. He's an "04" who runs average now, but is going to be a plus runner. His body has room to get much stronger. His arm plays very well and he has some of the best infield actions we've seen this year. He's going to hit too!
