Kyle Pearson is a 2007 RHP/1B with a 6'4'', 220 lb. frame from Estero FL, who attends South Ft Myers HS. He has a big, stout body with developing strength. Pearson stays tall during his delivery and gets good downward plane from a high 3/4's release point. He could get more energy to his delivery from his lower half. Pearson's arm works well and his 80-82, T 83 mph fastball has some arm side run. Pearson's breaking ball is a mid-70's slurve. There are some adjustments that Pearson can make to gain more velocity as there looks like there is more there in his big body. What carefully for improvement. Pearson is also a good student.

Kyle Pearson is a 2007 RHP/1B from South Ft Myers HS in Estero, FL, with a 6'5'', 210 lb. frame. He has an excellent frame for a developing pitcher and has really grown in the last year, as the PG records from the 2004 World Underclass list him as 6-3, 185 lbs. Pearson has a complicated delivery with some effort on release. He maintains a good downhill angle to plate and does a nice job for a tall young pitcher of keeping the ball down in the strike zone. His fastball topped out at 79 mph. Pearson threw a sweeping curveball at 65 mph and also mixed in a 70 mph change up. He worked quickly and threw strikes when he found his rhythm. He's a young pitcher with ideal size who projects well.

Kyle Pearson is a 2007 RHP/1B/OF from Estero, Florida, with a 6'3", 185 lb. frame. Pearson has a very projectable pitcher's body, and should add strength and velocity as he continues to mature. He has a clean delivery from a high 3/4 arm slot. His release point and height allow Pearson to get a good downward plane to the plate with his pitches. His fastball topped out at 76 mph with very good control. Pearson also throws a big, slow 10 to 4 curveball at 64 mph, and a 68 mph change up. He hit his spots with all three pitches, and allowed only 2 hits during his 4 innings of work. Pearson also took his turn at the plate. He is a right handed hitter with a knee lift trigger. He has solid bat speed, and good balance in his swing. Pearson does show some present power in his swing, but makes inconsistent contact. Defensively he showed a solid glove at first base, and a strong arm across the infield. Pearson is very projectable on the mound, and should be a solid follow for the 2007 class.
