Allen Benzenhafer is a 2012 C/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Lighthouse Point, FL who attends Pompano Beach HS. Strong athletic build. Good footwork behind the plate, quick exchange, short arm action, accurate throws, 1.90 best pop time; also solid outfield skills/tools, 7.07 runner, good carry on throws, athletic at both positions. Right handed hitter, hands start back and low, rock back load, line drive swing plane, gets long at times, has some bat speed and barrels up well, good extension and flashes some lift. Good balance of tools. Excellent student.
