Ewing is a 6 foot 185 pound outfielder that has a strong body and powerful left-handed bat. He runs well in the outfield, showed a good fielding approach and is a good follow for the 2005 class. He ran a 7.2 time in the 60 and showed athleticism fielding and throwing. He might have his most potential with the bat. He displayed good bat-speed and a powerful stroke pulling many of his balls in batting practice. He can really rip the ball and some of his line drives produced some serious back-spin. And his hitting is not all pull because in a game against live pitching he hit a shot into center field on a pitch out over the plate. One thing is for sure, he does not hold back when he sees a ball that he likes. Watch this bat.
