Blake Butera is a 2011 MIF with a 5-9 164 lb. frame from Madisonville, LA who attends Mandeville HS. Short stocky build, good compact strength. Smooth defensive actions, clean transfers and release, accurate arm with very good carry, will have to work on quickness/speed for the next level. High hand hitting approach with some bat wrap, quick hands to the ball, looks to pull, aggressive swing with bat speed, squares up well, confident polished approach. Good student.
