Taylor keeps his body quiet, and has a strength approach towards contact. Defensively, he has good hands, and some arm strength with plus accuracy and a clean release. Taylor projects to hit with good power. He is a middle of the line up hitter that should have his best years ahead of him. He shows good athletic ability for his size.
