Michael Torres is a slim athletic MIF from Santa Ana, CA. He projects very well and shows very good quickness. He ran a 7 flat 60 on the Tropicana Field turf. A left handed hitter he has a nice simple swing and quick hands. He can turn on the inside pitch. He is an excellent defensive MIF who gets a good jump on the ball and shows short quick actions. He has a very good feel for the game and probably profiles best at 2B. He has a good arm, but it and his ability to turn will stand out at 2B. He has excellent hands and good body control. Michael should play at a top national level program.
