Slow paced delivery, long extended arm action and 3/4's release. Fast arm, FB topped at 91 mph, didn't command FB well this outing. Short break on SL, gets into RHH's hands well. Change best pitch, very good hand speed, will occasionally drop release slot on change. Most effective when mixing pitches early in the count. Signed with Missouri State.

Jordan Shipers is a 2010 LHP with a 5'11'', 163 lb. frame from Bethany, MO who attends South Harrison HS. Medium wiry athletic build. Slow paced leg raise delivery, very extended 3/4's release point, some drop and drive to the plate, very good directionally, repeats, throws from far 1B side of rubber for angle. Easy and consistent velocity, loose, long and very fast arm, FB topped at 92 mph, jumps on hitters at the plate, flashed big nasty low 80's slider, not consistent location but hard biting action, change up gets nice late life. Everything down in zone, pitches with a purpose. Dominant performer with high draft potential. Good student, signed with Missouri State.
