Blake Gipson is a 2011 OF/MIF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Corinth, TX who attends Denton Guyer. Lean athletic build. Showed a combination of a solid arm and solid speed in both the infield and outfield. Big uppercut swing at the plate with good bat speed, though his swing can get long at times. Missed time with a wrist injury earlier in the season and he was shaking off some rust but showed solid tools all around and could make a jump at the plate as he gets more reps this season. Good student, committed to Dallas Baptist.
