Austin Meyer is a 2011 OF/RHP with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Bethlehem, GA who attends Winder-Barrow HS. Nice athletic build, plus present strength. Closed stance, long and strong swing, uppercut swing plane, some extension, power to the opposite field, strength in his swing but will need to shorten up. 7.37 runner, extended arm action, big crow hop, left field type tools. Also pitched, compact arm action, throws downhill, fastball to 84 mph, occasional cutting action, curveball flashes hard downer bite at times, inconsistent release point but has potential on the mound. Good student.
